Uncle ManyNames: A farewell
Skeet, Skeetah, Pete, Peter, Uncle Pete, Uncle Skeet, Uncle Peterson.
My smiling uncle of so many names, father, brother, son, caretaker, survivor finally let go.
He will be missed, his laughter, his good heart and his great cooking.

Yes Lord his cooking was Great! He was a good man.May God bless his soul.
James was more than a cousin to me. I consider him my brother, I would always tease him about being in the "dog house" when I called out to Midland to check on Moma Retha. He would reply sometimes that he and Sam both were in the "dog house". I will truly miss his voice when I call to Midland. I know that he is in a better place and may God rest his soul. Gone but not forgotten.
